Monkeys!

                 Day Three in Panama
This morning we went on a boat ride to Monkey Island to see wild monkeys! Within five minutes of arriving at the island, we spotted two little monkeys. One of them decided to come down to the boat to grab a piece of banana that our guide was holding. We then moved on to another part of the island where we saw more monkeys. At that location we saw and heard two Howler monkeys and a small group of Capuchin monkeys. Most of the group of monkeys climbed onto our boat to grab pieces of banana. Aside from the monkeys, the island and the surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. While we were on the water, two giant cargo ships passed through the canal. It was amazing to see how large they are compared to a normal boat on a lake. The morning on the lake was so much fun.
When we got back to the hotel, we spent the afternoon relaxing in the rooftop pool while enjoying the view of the nearby mountains, Panama City, and the Pacific Ocean.
