Panama Day 3

2/17/20

Monday was so much fun! Early in the morning we boarded a boat to visit the Monkey Islands where we saw three different species of monkeys, an iguana and an eager pelican.

I had a great time on the boat tour. The Capuchin monkeys were astonishingly friendly. They climbed onto the boats and we were able to feed them bits of banana. The monkeys were very curious, one reached into my bag searching for some food. I got very lucky and a monkey decided to sit my arm which was incredible. Now I can say that I've held a monkey! They were all very cute and made funny sounds. It was so cool to get to interact with them so up-close and personal. They are really intelligent animals.
